EUROPEAN SOCIETY for HYPERTHERMIC ONCOLOGY

Prague, Czech Republic, May 31 - June 3, 2007


Dear Friends and Colleagues,

it is a great pleasure for me to invite you to paticipate in the ESHO 2007 Meeting from May 31 to June 3 to be held in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. The meeting venue will be in historical buildings of Charles University (founded 1348), located in the Old Town of Prague.

The programm of the meeting will cover major aspects of recent developments within different fields of hyperthermic oncology. We look forward to stimulating scientific presentations and discussions in friendly atmosphere. The aim of the meeting is both to present results of work and to explore new areas for future co-operation.

The official language of the meeting will be English. Technical facilities (data projector etc.) will be available. More about the conference organization and the programm will be given in the Second Circular and on the web.

Society's Purpose and Criteria for Membership

The Society was organized to provide a forum for members to discuss their ideas on the use of hyperthermia and present their clinical experience at meetings.

The Society is open to professionals in various specialties working in clinical hyperthermia for the treatment of malignant neoplasm, who hold full-time appointments to the staff of hospitals accredited by the JCAH or corresponding body in countries outside of the USA. Active members include surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists (including basic scientists), nurses and administrators. Manufacturers and suppliers of clinical hyperthermia equipment are eligible for associate membership.
